Samantha Roy,
Guidance Counselor

I am here to help with all your requirements for Graduation, TOPS and Scholarships. Seniors, especially, need to stay on top of this and read the posted information daily. I will add scholarships as I get them. If you need to see me personally about anything regarding your classes or graduation, please come by and make an appointment to talk to me. I am here for you!

Dear Seniors,
Hopefully, this year will be your memorable school year. It will pass by quicker than you realize. Here are mini reminders for you:

1) Between September 6th-28th, ALL SENIORS must see Ms. Samantha for an evaluation of transcript during a convenient time when teacher allows, before/after school, or at recess
2) High School Graduation Ceremony is May 24th.
Class ranking is based upon weighted quality points (not grade point average) with a maximum of 28 course credits. Seating will be determined according to ranking, then above 3.00gpa, then rest of class placed in alphabetical order.
3) GEE retesters Oct. 24-28, and finally March 20/April 12-17, Career Day- Sept. 29th

Thank you for your patience and understanding,
Mrs. Samantha Roy, AHS School Counselor; sroy@avoyellesspsb.com
