Big River - The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
The musical "Big River", Mark Twain's timeless classic, sweeps us down the mighty Mississippi as the irrepressible Huck Finn helps his friend Jim, a slave, escape to freedom at the mouth of the Ohio River. The cast is composed of fourteen men, seven women, and a large chorus. Auditions are opened to students at Avoyelles High as well as students and adults from surrounding communities.
